I'm not crazy about the 2nd one, especially the tracking link ... lol probably you meant tracking comp ?
Edit: Cap is tricky on these. I think the first would last longer. The 2nd would die half full of cap.
Edit 2: I would ditch the cap rig for an armor rig too.

Originally by: Ric Adburr You're right, I did. However, now that Itry to fix that, the Tracking Comp doesn't fit. Not enough CPU. : /
If you cant make it fit, try a 2nd web. With weak webs now its not wasted and will also help your tracking by pushing your target's breaks for them.

I disagree with you Arcon, but would you post your setup ?

Yeah your setup is good, better for general use than a dual LAR.
But in my experience, the dual LARs with rep rigs can tank quite a bit. With only eanms and a dc in lows I could outlast most stuff, taking a little while before cap is a prob for the 2nd rep.
What I mean is as long as both reps are running, pretty much all the dps your doing is tanked, while you tank less than half what im shooting at you during all the fight.

Originally by: Arcon Telf That makes sense. But if your opponent has a HG Slave Set and my setup, you're in trouble. Even without slaves, I have over 10,000 more armor HP than you do, with the same resistances.
That said, I'm not going and looking for 1 on 1 fights with Hyperion pilots much older than me. In fact, I'd rarely go after another PVP pilot in a battleship that's significantly older than me. It's just bad business, no?
Hmm yeah, HG slaves would screw me good probably. Would probably have cap problems too early.
The not looking for 1 vs 1 hyperion pilots older than you answered my question also, hehe.

Originally by: Arcon Telf Without max skills in a given ship, that rule of thumb seems pretty obvious to me. When my Hyperion and its support skills are all 5x5, I'll take on older pilots. But show me a pilot that doesn't follow that rule, and I'll show you all of his loss mails.
Yeah, especially with BSes. Fighting in these is not really forgiving and is also pretty static, relying more in raw firepower and thougness than fancy manoeuvers. Well, you still can screw yourself with a bad manoeuver, but unlikely to gain a edge with good manoeuvers.
Hope im spelling manoeuver right.

You can drop the med cap booster for a tracking comp/ecm/web depending on your tastes, but then its not cap stable.....

Mine was looking like that too, before I lost it to 6 BS. I squeeze in 5 ions, 3 electrons and 3 armor rigs tho.

Originally by: Ong lol yeh getting gank'd sucks, but tbh 6 vs 1 no fit is gunna last long. hell thats almost enough dps to take out a dread
Yeah ... they where blobbers in 0.0 who wouldnt do anything agaisnt our 3-4 man gang without being 8-10. One day we got tired and just engaged them at their station. Almost took one out ... But they kept logging in and undocking more to end up with at least twice more BS than us. We lost two or three BS but at least we got to fight.
